compare and contrast
In the first picture the drawing is drawn by Andre Derain and the second one is drawn by Thomas Cole. In the first drawing it shows fisherman fishing and two people watching them. The second picture shows a landscape with one side which you can see it looks like a storm is coming and the other side of it is bright and with peace. It was made in Collioure in 1905(first picture) and the second drawing was made in the view of Mount Holyoke in 1836. Both of them are a landscape. In the first one it is a expressionist because he uses brushstrokes to express himself. The second drawing is impressionist because it is a drawing that looks realistic, no brushstrokes and is flat/smooth and the painting is an art movements. They are both similar because they don't have a line of symmetry. Both of the drawings were made by using oil. The second drawings dimensions are 51 1/2 in by 76 in. The first one is 31 7/8 by 39 1/2 inches.
